Yesterday’s Accomplishments: 10 Items Completed, including: wash/dry/put away 4 loads laundry, unload/load/wash 2 loads dishes, take children for nap in car (they didn’t actually nap, but we tried), and go to the splash park with several families we know.
So at the end of week eight, I’m down 15.0 pounds, and 3.2 pounds since last week. Of note, I’m also lower than I’ve been at any previous weekly report, although not at the lowest weight of the diet (that would be yesterday). I think I just let some things slide, and now that I’m paying more attention, especially to the food I’m eating, hopefully the downward trend continues and the stall that I’ve been in for the last three weeks (trip planning/the trip/trip recovery) is over.
In addition to the items I got done, I have several that I’m now able to remove from my to do list, for unfortunate reasons. The free upgrade to Windows 10 – which was available for a full year – expired at the end of last month, before I was able to upgrade either my “work” laptop or my “gaming” laptop. I’d been planning to get it done in July before the trip, and then when that didn’t happen, planned to get it done last week. I don’t NEED Windows 10, I just am not running any machines with it yet and I was hoping to become familiar with it so I would be able to be helpful when people asked me questions about it (quite often). But alas it just didn’t happen.
